Fall River Police arrest city man after allegedly making terroristic threats, vandalism
A city man is facing several charges after incidents that reportedly took place early Tuesday morning.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at just after 12:15 a.m., Officers responded to Father Diaferio Housing Complex in response to a report that a male had threatened to “shoot up” the complainant’s apartment.
It was reported that a disagreement had occurred earlier in the day between the complainant’s family member and the male in question.
After speaking with all parties involved, the investigating Officer placed 22-year-old Ailton Daniel Lopes under arrest for Terroristic Threats, two counts of vandalism involving an incident which occurred earlier in the day and an outstanding arrest warrant.
Lopes pled not guilty at arraignment and was released on Personal Recognizance but is to have no contact with victim/witnesses and is to stay away from the location the alleged incident took place.
