Fall River Forever Paws’ Knuckles, is lovable, friendly, and high-energy

This is Fall River Forever Paws’ Pet of the Week, Knuckles.

Knuckles was named Knuckles for two reasons.

The first reason being, if you know anything about Sonic the Hedgehog, you know the character, Knuckles. Knuckles is headstrong, likes to smash things, and is incredibly fast. Knuckles is also headstrong, accidentally smashes things, and he has one speed. His one speed is, “GOTTA GO FAST!”

The second reason being that he is just a giant loveable knucklehead.

Knuckles is a 1 1/2-year-old husky mix that’s about 50 lbs. right now. He LOVES people and is probably one of the friendliest dogs that you will ever meet. He’s a social butterfly, bouncing around and making friends with everyone that he meets and making them fall in love with his goofy antics. He is VERY high energy and doesn’t seem to know his own strength but he’s still very much a puppy, so he’ll learn as he matures.

No cats for this guy! He hasn’t shown any aggression but he’s so high energy that he might be too intense for most cats. He’s generally just fine with other dogs but he can be selective so any potential housemates will need to come in for a meet and greet. Forever Paws highly suggests OLDER kids (teenagers, preferably) or at least kids that can hold their own because this guy is bouncy and loves to jump on people.

Breed experience is preferred or someone that is ready and willing to pursue further training for him because he will most likely need it.

Knuckles is always happy, always excited, and ALWAYS loves to be with people. He’s the happiest, zoomiest guy you’ll ever meet.
