A Rhode Island man who was murdered on Saturday is being remembered.
At just after 6:00 p.m., Woonsocket Police responded to a reported disturbance in the area of 380 Social Street with several individuals fighting.
Upon arrival, police located a victim later identified as 32-year-old Christopher “Ace” Penado suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to Landmark Hospital where he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.

Penado was described by those who knew him as a good soul with a big heart. Friends expressed heartbreak over the news stating he will be missed by many.
No word yet on an arrest in the homicide.
