A Fall River daycare has been broken into for the second time in as many nights.

Natashia Machado the owner of the soon to open Pumpkin Patch Childcare located at 1310 South Main Street, told us Saturday that she was heartbroken after suspects broke into her business and wiped it out.

According to Machado, neighbors heard a loud bang at approximately 2:30-3:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

Upon her arrival, she discovered that a huge rock was used to break a window at the facility.

Two suspects, believed to be one male and one female, were seen on video footage leaving Pumpkin Patch with two carriages full of items.

Machado stated that the pair walked away with thousands of dollars’ worth of items including brand new toys, tons of books, portable sinks, and even her first aid kit.

The business was broken into again Saturday night, this time with an alarm which appeared to scare the suspect(s) away. A drill was stolen in the second break-in.

Machado stated that more sensors and cameras were bought Sunday morning to add more security to the building.

If you have any information on the break-ins, contact Fall River Police at (508) 324-2787.
