Fall River may have a new candidate for mayor in 2025.

According to The Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance, Carlos Cesar has organized a Committee for Mayor.

Cesar is the long-time president of the Flint Neighborhood Association. He has been featured on many community podcasts and shows offering his opinion and insight. Cesar has also organized community cleanups and recently attempted to bring a carnival to the city with the requests denied.

John Sylvia is the treasurer of the committee and Jeffrey Gaudreau is the chair.

Cesar’s party affiliation is listed as independent (unenrolled).

He offered no comment when asked about the committee.

In 2023, Mayor Paul Coogan beat out former mayor and challenger Sam Sutter 60% to 39%. It is not clear if either will be in the race in 2025.

Hopefully he will bring up the point, the State/Beacon Hill has been ‘Under Funding’ City’s and Towns for many, many, years!

If the State has ‘Billions $$’ for Biden/Healey “Open Borders” Folks, then they can step up to the plate for MA City’s and Towns with more State Aid.

Massghanistan Local Property Taxpayers are Taxed Out, plus in Biden’s Admin Economy we all pay more to feel Miserable! Soon you will have to work Six Day a week and three Jobs! Plus your Wife two Jobs?
