Faces of Fall River #3: Kim Carvalho Wagner

Published

on

Meet Kim Carvalho Wagner, the friendly face at the front desk of the Bristol County Veterans Association located at 755 Pine Street in Fall River.

The Bristol County Veterans Association supports all veterans in Bristol County with a food pantry, hot meals, employment assistance and other valuable resources to support our veterans. Her most recent project was to set up a trailer with clothing for veterans (both men and women) to get free clothing provided by retail donors in Bristol County.

Kim moved to Fall River from Swansea in 1994 and has worked at the Bristol County Veterans Association for two and a half years. She was inspired by military personnel at an early age as her grandfather was a World War II veteran. She got active supporting the military by writing letters to the men and women during Desert Storm. Her husband is also a veteran.

“All our veterans deserve better treatment. They deserve to be spoiled” – Kim Carvalho Wagner
