Driver facing several charges after car crashes into multiple objects at State Police Barracks

A driver has been arrested on multiple charges after vehicle crashes into several objects in front of State Police.

According to Rhode Island State Police, just after 1:30 a.m., Troopers from the Lincoln Barracks handled a motor vehicle accident that occurred in front of the Lincoln Barracks.

The investigation revealed that a black Audi SUV traveling north on Old Louisquisset Pike lost control and exited the right side of the roadway. The vehicle continued through two wooden fences on either side of the entrance to the State Police Lincoln Barracks coming to rest on the front lawn. No injuries were reported.

The operator was identified as 46-year-old Clinton Bradshaw of Lincoln, Rhode Island. Bradshaw was taken into custody and charged with Driving Under the Influence of alcohol or drugs, 1st offense, BAC unknown, Reckless Driving, and Refusal to submit to a chemical test. He was held overnight pending an arraignment at Third Division District Court.
