Driver cited, two transported to the hospital after Fall River rollover crash
A driver has been cited after a crash in Fall River on Wednesday.
According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, Officers responded to the intersection of Weetamoe Street and Highland Avenue at approximately 3:00 p.m. in response to a motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, the operator of a Toyota indicated that they came to a stop at the intersection of Weetamoe Street and Highland Avenue before crossing Highland Avenue. As they were crossing the intersection, their vehicle collided with a Hyundai which was traveling North on Highland Avenue, causing the Toyota to rollover.
According to the operator of the Hyundai, they were unable to stop in time to avoid a collision with the Toyota.
The operator and passenger of the Toyota were transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
The operator of the Toyota was cited for a stop sign violation.

What about the hundai moving faster then the speed limit? Couldve been a blown stop sign but more likely that hundai would have to be moving closer to 55 to flip another car…i dont think the toyota blew the stop i think the toyota stopped and looked left but nobody was there looked right and went and within the 3 seconds it took to pull out that car had moved 4 blocks in 3 seconds if he was doing 55 or greater…much further then you can see
