Day of Portugal Fall River returning to its typical spring slot in 2022
A festival that brings food, faith, and entertainment to the city will be returning once again.
Day of Portugal Fall River, which takes place every year at the Gates of the City down near the waterfront on Ponta Delgada Blvd., postponed the event last year from its typical June slot to August due to COVID-19. It was canceled, along with just about every other event in 2020 because of the virus and restrictions.
One of the more popular events in Fall River which features Portuguese and American singing acts, along with food from area restaurants, is scheduled to take place from June 9th to 12th this year.
The current confirmed entertainment includes:
Zé Amaro
Lucenzo
Rodrigo Leal
Nadia e Banda Karma
Tony Borges
Manel The Island Man
David DeMelo
Starlight
DJ Intoit
MC Ricardo Farias
More details will be released as the event date approaches.
