Chief releases update after man and woman found dead in Woonsocket home

A police chief has released more information after people were found dead in Rhode Island on Wednesday.

Two people were found deceased in a home at Veterans Memorial Housing on Bourdon Blvd in Woonsocket.

According to Police Chief Thomas Oates, a male and female in their 30’s-40’s were located deceased.

No positive identification has been made.

Suspected deaths are a result of an overdose.

Oates stated that the Rhode Island medical examiner took custody of the victims and authorities are waiting for the toxicology report.
