Another driver has crashed into a police cruiser, and it appears to be happening with more frequency as of late.

According to the State Police Association of Massachusetts, earlier this week on Route 91 in Easthampton, another State Trooper was struck while inside his cruiser.

The operator of the other vehicle was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The Trooper did not suffer any serious injuries.

Jus this month, a Somerset teen smashed into a Westport Police cruiser.

A Fall River man was recently arrested after hitting a State Police cruiser

The State Police Union wanted to remind the public that “the bottom line is this was too close of a call. On behalf of all Association members, we remind everyone within the Commonwealth to SLOW DOWN AND MOVE OVER when approaching an emergency vehicle.”
