Westport Animal Control warning public, pet owners, after three animals test positive for rabies
A local animal control announced Friday that three animals have tested positive for rabies.
Westport Animal Control stated that a raccoon tested positive for rabies on Division Road.
A raccoon also tested positive for rabies on Christopher Circle.
A woodchuck tested positive for rabies on Sanford Road.
Animal Control urges all animal owners to make sure their animals rabies vaccinations are up-to-date and to make sure to license your dogs so Animal Control knows that your dogs are up to date per state Law.
