Two vehicle highway crash injures two from Bristol County, one fatally
Two from Bristol County were injured, one fatally, after a weekend highway crash.
According to NJ.com, New Jersey State Police responded to a rear-end crash near milepost 55.8 at 2:30 a.m. Sunday on the New Jersey Turnpike in Burlington County.
The impact from the crash pushed both vehicles into the center median.
A passenger in the car that was rear-ended, 75-year-old Maria Irgui of Attleboro, was pronounced dead at the scene from her injuries.
Both drivers also suffered minor injuries.
Charges have not been filed and the crash remains under investigation.
