Fall River firefighters make quick work of blaze at recently sold north end home
Fire crews made quick work after flames shot out of a residential building in Fall River on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Fire Chief Roger St. Martin, a call came in at approximately 5:50 p.m. for flames showing at an unoccupied, recently sold, single family, 2-story home at 276 Beattie Street.
The fire was under control in roughly 15 minutes.
St. Martin stated that renovations were beginning at the home.
The home suffered approximately $120,000 in damages.
At the same time, a small kitchen fire took place in the south end that caused minor smoke damage.
The Beattie Street fire is under investigation.
