Driver suffers life-threatening injuries after serious Sunday afternoon crash
A driver is fighting for his life after a serious crash on Sunday afternoon.
Lakeville Fire Alarm alerted the Lakeville Fire Department of a crash at the intersection of Southworth and Leonard Street at 5:12 p.m. on Sunday.
Upon arrival, Lakeville responders found a seriously injured adult man and immediately initiated advanced life support measures.
The driver’s injuries appear to be life-threatening.
Following treatment on scene, the patient was transported to the trauma team at Rhode Island Hospital.
The road was completely shut down by Lakeville Police at the time of the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
