Another motorcycle rider killed, passenger airlifted, after fatal crash with SUV
Massachusetts State Police responded to another serious accident involving a motorcycle that turned fatal.
Troopers responded to a crash at approximately 2:00 p.m. Saturday involving a motorcycle and an SUV on Route 9 East in Belchertown.
The 2 riders on the motorcycle were found unresponsive, according to police.
The operator of the motorcycle received CPR and did not survive.
The passenger was life-flighted to UMass Worcester.
Route 9 at Swift River was shut down at the time of the crash.
This is at least the 7th serious or fatal crash involving a motorcycle in Massachusetts since the end of April.
