A man was stabbed multiple times in Fall River Friday.

According to Captain Jay Huard, Officers responded to Charlton Memorial Hospital around midnight in reference to a past stabbing.

The victim, a 33-year-old man, reported that he allegedly left his girlfriend’s apartment located in the north end of the city and got into an argument with another man in the area of the “7 Hills Gas Station,” located at the intersection of North Main Street and President Ave. The victim stated that the man then subsequently stabbed him.

Officers canvassed the gas station and checked his girlfriend’s apartment in order to ensure that the stabbing didn’t happen at the apartment.

The victim was less than cooperative, according to Huard, and officers couldn’t locate a blood-trail at the gas station, nor in the area.

The victim sustained three, non-life threatening puncture wounds. He was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford due to it being a higher-level trauma center.

Two shootings and another stabbing were reported within 8 hours.
