The victim fled the scene and went back to his residence where he contacted the police.

The victim was not cooperative with the investigators, according to Huard. He was grazed in the left shoulder and is in stable condition.

Huard stated that it appears the suspect shot from behind a parked car at that intersection and struck the victim’s vehicle and a nearby home. Officers were able to locate shell casings at the scene.

A second floor window was found to be shot out and a projectile was found on the kitchen floor, according to transmissions. A first floor window also incurred damage from the shooting.

Also, at 9:22 p.m., Officers were dispatched to the area of 63 Cottage Street in regards to shots fired.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that no one was hit by gunfire. A three-family residence in the area sustained some minor property damage due to the shots fired, according to Huard.

Officers were able to locate shell casings at the scene.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
