Two seriously injured in Taunton double stabbing
TAUNTON — Chief Edward J. Walsh reports that the Taunton Police Department is investigating a double stabbing that occurred Sunday morning.
At approximately 11 a.m., dispatchers received a call about a reported stabbing on Cohannet Street. Upon arrival, police located two adult victims who suffered stab wounds.
The victims were transported to local hospitals to be treated for injuries that are considered serious.
At this time, police do not believe that the incident was random and the suspect is in custody.
According to Norton Police, the man wanted for the stabbings was arrested by their department this morning.
The incident remains under active investigation and police state that no additional information is available at this time.
