
The Fall River Police Department responded to an incident at a fast-food restaurant in the city late last week.
According to Deputy Chief Barden Castro, at just after 7:15 p.m., on Saturday, officers responded to McDonald’s, 300 Plymouth Ave, due to reports of an assault.
Officers located a male on scene who was suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
The victim was transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital by city paramedics.
We received a tip that the victim was an older man and the suspects were several juveniles, however, that was not confirmed by police.
The incident is an active investigation with investigators following several leads.
