Westport School asks public for help after equipment repeatedly stolen
A rash of equipment thefts at a local school has left a teacher asking for the public’s help.
Terry Pacheco, a gym teacher at Macomber School, issued a post on social media asking for people to be on the lookout.
“If anyone in the Macomber School neighborhood sees anyone walking away from the property with physed equipment can you please call town police! For the third time my outdoor equipment bin has been broken into and my students equipment taken. If any parents/grandparents have seen their kids come home with new frisbees, bats, and hula-hoops they probably belong to my students. We are all trying to make it through this already insane school year and it’s not fair to the kids that their tools for learning are getting swiped. Thanks in advance for your help.”
You can contact Westport Police with any details at (508) 636-1122.
