Veterans Memorial Drawbridge in Fall River, Somerset, to run 20 minute test openings
FALL RIVER AND SOMERSET – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is announcing that it will be conducting test openings on the Veterans Memorial Drawbridge that spans Fall River and Somerset. The test openings will begin at 7:30 a.m., on Sunday, January 10, and are anticipated to be completed in four hours. Each test will take approximately 20 minutes to perform.
Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. Any traffic that accumulates during testing operations will be allowed to clear in between test openings.
All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency.
