Vehicle crashes into local convenience store

According to Freetown Police, at approximately 12:18 p.m. today a vehicle crashed into the Circle K convenient store located on South Main Street in Assonet. Luckily there were no injuries reported by the operator, employees, or patrons.

For the time being, no customers are allowed inside the building due to structural damage. However, the gas pumps and Dunkin’ Donuts drive thru are still open.

At this time, no further information is available.
