BRIDGEWATER — Chief Christopher D. Delmonte reports that the Bridgewater Police Department arrested two people after a stabbing on Dec. 24.
On December 24 at 7:15 p.m., Bridgewater Police were called to the Kingswood Park Village , located at 180 Main St. for a report of a man stabbed. Upon arrival, officers and rescuers met with an adult male suffering two stab wounds in the lower back.
The victim told police he had an altercation with another man and a woman and that he had met the man earlier in the day. He reported that he was stabbed, and his backpack and cellphone were stolen by the suspects who fled toward Building B.
Detective Sgt. Scott Hile and Detective Kevin Kearns with assistance from patrol Officers Ryan Thayer and Matthew MacFadzen identified Eric Wise, 36, and Molly Flaherty, 33, of Bridgewater. Both were taken into custody without incident following the execution of a search warrant at another location in the complex.
