Tornado Watch issued for Massachusetts and Rhode Island
A Tornado Watch has been issued for much of the area.
According to the National Weather Service, a Tornado Watch has been issued for parts of CT, MA, NH, NY, RI, VT until 9 PM EDT.
The NWS has stated that a few tornadoes are possible along with golf ball sized hail.
Isolated wind gusts of up to 80 mph are also possible.
Minor coastal flooding for South Coastal MA/RI is also possible along with dangerous rip currents for south-facing beaches.
Southern New England remains in a Tropical Storm Warning until further notice.
