JOB DESCRIPTION:

The leasing associate’s primary responsibility is the performance of all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs and lease renewals.

– You will generally be the first point of contact with prospective residents & current residents.
– This position will tour, qualify and sell the property’s features to prospective residents.
– Manage the leasing, closing and move in process with our new residents.
– Initial questions most likely come through you first. You must be quick to determine the customer’s needs, resolve and/or escalate to a higher level as permitted.
– Fostering new relationships with our prospective residents is vital to success in this position.
– Using your strong administrative and computer skills, this position will manage various tasks, such as managing lease files, updating necessary paperwork and computer systems, completing marketing/advertising tasks, updating social media sites, must be fluent in written and oral English.
– Weekends are required; must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and some holidays.
– Assist with company’s on-going relationship with the residents throughout their tenancy
– Performs all of the above in accordance with applicable laws and company policies

Requirements:
– Leasing residential real estate/sales experience preferred
– Must be familiar with all applications of Microsoft Office
– Must have reliable transportation
-Demonstrated strong organizational skills & excellent communication skills
– Trustworthy
– Friendly, reliable, hardworking
– Knowledge of all office equipment (fax, computer, telephone, copier)
– Maintains an accurate and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the community, particularly in areas
such as rent and pricing information, vacancies, apartment availability, lease expirations, square footage
– Performs all of the above in accordance with applicable laws and company policies
– Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
– A positive attitude and a willingness to succeed
