Patient Service Representative (Front Office) – HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc. “The Heart of Our Community”
Part-Time, Monday-Fridays: 11:30am – 8:00pm

HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc. provides comprehensive services including medical care, dental care, obstetrics, cardiology and gastroenterology services, health education, health assessment and screenings.

We are currently seeking a professional, positive, full-time (40 hours per week) Medical Patient Service Representative for our front office. The Patient Service Representative must enjoy working with culturally diverse children and families in providing comprehensive patient care. Under the direction of the Patient Service Representative Supervisor, the Patient Service Representative will be responsible for providing reception, patient registration and clerical services that support the operation of the health center. This position is responsible for registering existing and new patients according to policies and procedures that facilitate patient flow, verifying and updating patient information, co-payment collection, and insurance verification. The Patient Service Representative may have varying hours including nights and Saturdays.

Required Qualifications:

• Correctly fill out Company documentation, bills of lading, as completed
• Enter finished goods into inventory and prepare for shipment
• Operate FedEx and UPS Software to complete shipments
• Obtain appropriate box for shipping product and stage boxes for pick-up
• Load boxes of finished goods into shipping containers to prevent any damage during transit
• Maintain clean & orderly work area and equipment
• Follow all safety programs
• Complete tasks and follow a daily schedule with minimal supervision
• May receive, sort and issue parts from stock.

Experienced shippers who have used FedEx & UPS Word Ship software systems will be considered. Must be organized with good communication skills with accurate data entry. Experience with domestic & international shipping a plus.
