Taunton man hits $1 million instant game prize for 2nd time
A Massachusetts man is one of the newest winners of a big money prize.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Edward Duarte Jr. of Taunton has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Diamond Millions” instant ticket game.
The grand prize on this $30 ticket is a $1,000,000 cash prize (before taxes).
Duarte purchased his winning ticket at Town Food Mart located at 426 Bay Street in Taunton while on his way to pick up pizza. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
This is the second time Duarte has won a $1 million prize, having previously won in August of 2020 in the “Supreme Millions” instant game. Town Food Mart sold that ticket as well.
