Southern Massachusetts crash causes car to burst into flames, knocks out power
A driver is lucky to be alive after a fiery crash early Monday morning.
According to the Plainville Fire Department, firefighters responded to a car fire caused by an accident involving a telephone pole at approximately 2:30 a.m. in the area of 60 Taunton Street.
Utility workers were called to the scene to restore power and fix the pole.
Officials stated that the lone occupant in the vehicle self-extricated and miraculously was not injured.
