Serious crash between motorcycles, vehicle in Fall River Monday
Two local men, one seriously, were injured in a Memorial Day crash.
According to Detective John Robinson, at 6:15 p.m. patrol units responded to Rhode Island Avenue north at Orswell Street regarding a crash involving two motorcycles and an automobile.
The operators of the motorcycles (a 28-year-old male from New Bedford and a 23-year-old Fall River male) were traveling north on Rhode Island Ave when a vehicle traveling west on Orswell Street pulled out into traffic. The motorcycles hit the 2007 BMW.
One of the riders received serious injuries due to the crash. That male was transported to a Rhode Island Hospital. The other male was transported to a local hospital.
Accident Reconstruction, CSU and MCD responded to the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing.
