Second pedestrian in as many days seriously injured in Fall River, driver cited
Another pedestrian has been seriously injured in Fall River.
According to scanner transmissions, just before 6:00 p.m., a call came in for a vehicle versus pedestrian crash at the intersection of President Avenue and Garden Street.
An elderly female was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with possible serious injuries.
According to Lieutenant Jay Huard, the victim is listed in stable condition with a hip injury and concussion.
The driver was cited for failure to use care in slowing.
Tuesday, a driver was cited after hitting a woman in a wheelchair and critically injuring her.
