Search at North Watuppa Pond, other Fall River area locations, results in finding missing and endangered person
Search crews in the Fall River area were attempting to locate a missing and endangered person on Thursday.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., Fall River firefighters’ part of the Dive Team were working an active incident at the North Watuppa Pond. Police officers were also involved in the search.
According to Detective Sergeant Moses Pereira, officers were searching for an individual who was suffering from a mental health episode.
Local crews ended up locating the individual in Westport unharmed.
