Say “Hello!” to Fall River’s Forever Paws’ “Brooklyn” who is looking for a “forever home”

“Please say hello to Brooklyn! She is a 2-year-old female Pittie Mix who is looking for her forever home-and has been for 12 weeks now. She was surrendered to Forever Paws through Animal Control because her family was moving and could not bring her with them.

She is a high-energy pup but listens really well. She is super food motivated, so training is relatively easy for her. She just needs the right family situation.

Brooklyn would do best as they only pet in the home. She was not properly socialized with dogs, so although she is really excited to see them she has no idea about what is appropriate and what is not-which the other dogs do not appreciate. She has a high prey drive and does not know what to do with cats exactly, but we think she will be a chaser, so we are putting the no cat restriction on her.

She LOVES people, and belly rubs, and any kind of attention she can get. Because of her size and strength, she needs to go to older, sturdy kids. Her new family will own their home and have previous dog experience.

Please keep in mind, we do not put these restrictions on the dogs to make life difficult for everyone, we put them on in order to ensure they go to their permanent home.

Brooklyn is fixed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped.

If you are interested in meeting Brooklyn and meet these requirements, please fill out an application and send it directly to asilva@foreverpaws.com.

Thank You,
Arianna Silva
Director,
Forever Paws.”
