Rhode Island police looking for public’s help after deceased child’s ashes, other items, stolen

Police in Rhode Island are looking for the public’s help after something irreplaceable was reported stolen.
During the daytime hours of Wednesday, the Barrington Police Department responded for a possible breaking and entering of a residence in the area of Nayatt Road.
Officers quickly arrived on scene and confirmed a breaking and entering had taken place.
It was learned by investigators that a black safe was taken from the home. Inside this safe, amongst other items, were the ashes of the victim’s deceased child.
The suspect in this incident possibly drove away in a gray colored Dodge Ram pick-up (pictured).
