Powers Guaranteed Services acquires Fall River business
SWANZEY, NH., Powers Guaranteed Services has announced the acquisition of two companies: Connecticut-based GenQuip, and Fall River-based Baraby Corporation on Jefferson Street. Both companies are standby generator installation & service specialists and provide electrical services.
Founded in 1994, Powers Guaranteed Services was the first generator company that also provided turn-key installations in Central and Northern New England. Since then, PGS has added electrical, gas, and heating & cooling services to its offerings, and has plans to expand into adjacent markets in the coming years.
“Adding GenQuip and Baraby Corporation expands and strengthens our presence in New England,” said Al Powers, Owner. “Their commitment to their customers and quality of service is one that strongly resonates with PGS. We look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead with some strong New England-based operations joining our team.”
“As our company evolves, the needs and desires of our customers do, too,” Powers said. “We wanted partners that would expand our services and products to help meet the needs of our customers, positioning us for sustained growth. GenQuip and Baraby were both perfect fits.”
With the addition of GenQuip and Baraby, PGS now has more than 70 employees in 4 locations throughout New England.
