Police looking for suspects in Fall River stabbing, armed robbery
The Fall River Police department is searching for suspects concerning an alleged Sunday morning incident.
According to Captain Barden Castro, at approximately 4:47 a.m., two men, who were armed with a knife, attacked a man near the intersection of Fourth and Rodman Streets.
Officer Nicholas Mello responded and learned that the victim was walking home. He fought back and grabbed the knife which gave himself a severe cut. The two suspects then fled the scene.
The victim was transported to the hospital and needed surgery, however, the injury was not expected to be life-threatening.
