Police investigating suspicious death after 53-year-old woman found dead in Rhode Island motel room
Police in Rhode Island are investigating a suspicious death at a local motel.
According to police, on Saturday at about 6:37 p.m., the North Kingstown Police Department received a 911 call from the manager of Blue Beach Motel at 7825 Post Road to report that they found an unconscious injured person in room 120.
Upon arrival, police located a deceased 53-year-old female.
The conditions of the scene indicated a potential for a suspicious death. The scene was secured, and detectives were called in.
NKPD stated that there is no ongoing danger to the community.
Identification of the victim is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin.
