Police: 9 suspects total charged in Middleborough triple stabbing
MIDDLEBOROUGH — Police Chief Joseph Perkins reports that eight additional suspects have been charged in connection with a triple-stabbing that occurred last month.
As a result of their ongoing investigation, the Middleborough Police Department has charged eight additional suspects, including two adults and six juveniles, that were allegedly involved in the incident.
19-year-old Matthew Brow, and 19-year-old Alaiis Barrows, both of Middleborough, were charged with Assault and Battery.
Four juvenile males and two juvenile females, of Middleborough, were charged with Assault and Battery in connection with the incident as well.
An arraignment date is yet to be scheduled.
On Saturday, June 24 at 12:05 a.m., the Middleborough Police Department received a 911 call reporting multiple people stabbed in the area of the power lines on Wall Street.
Officers responded and located two 19-year-old men from Carver suffering from stab wounds. One of the 19-year-olds suffered multiple stab wounds to his torso and was transported to Boston Medical Center in critical condition. The other 19-year-old suffered multiple stab wounds to his leg and was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. One is still hospitalized.
18-year-old Jayden Wainwright of Middleborough was previously charged with Attempted Murder and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (Three Counts).
