Motorcycle rider seriously injured after highway crash involving vehicle in Fall River
Massachusetts State Police and Fall River personnel responded to a serious crash on a local highway Tuesday afternoon.
At approximately 2:50 p.m., a call came into dispatch for a motorcycle versus car crash at Route 24 South on to Interstate 195 West in Fall River.
According to Massachusetts State Police, Troopers responded to the crash with serious injury to the motorcycle operator at 2:47 p.m.
Fall River Fire Department and emergency medical services also assisted and transported the operator to Rhode Island Hospital.
Massachusetts State Police left the scene just before 4:00 p.m.
The name of the victim was not released.
The crash is under investigation.
