Plymouth woman wins $240,000 a year for 10 years in instant game
A $10 scratch ticket turned into a big win for a woman from southern New England.
Joyce Hamblin of Plymouth has won a $20,000 a Month for 10 Years prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Decade of Dollars” $10 instant ticket game.
Hamblin chose the annuity option on her prize and received the first year of payments totaling $240,000 (before taxes).
The winning ticket was purchased at Cumberland Farms located at 154 Samoset St. in Plymouth. The store will receive a $24,000 bonus for its sale.
