Person jumps off Newport Pell Bridge Sunday morning
A person jumped from a local bridge this morning.
Around 10:30 a.m., a call came in for a jumper down off of the Newport Pell Bridge.
The body could be visibly seen in the water by Newport Fire.
According to scanner transmissions, the person was recovered from the water by Marine 6 and CPR was being performed on the way to the dock.
The person was transported to the hospital where their condition is currently unknown.
