One dead, one critical in Fall River New Year’s Day fire

A woman has lost her life at a fire at the Four Winds housing complex in Fall River Tuesday morning.
An elderly female has been killed when a car crashed into the complex at 5500 North Main Street causing the building to go up in flames. The woman has passed away according to Fall River Police. Another is also in critical condition.
Multiple rescues were requested. According to scanner transmissions, a med flight was also requested.
Fall River Fire is still on scene battling the blaze that began before 10:00 a.m.
