Officials release identity of man killed in Seekonk crash where five vehicles were hit
Authorities have released the name of the man killed in a serious pickup truck crash on Fall River Avenue in Seekonk on Saturday.
According to Gregg Miliote Derek Galego, 24, of Bristol RI, was driving at around 2:00 p.m. at an extremely high rate of speed and driving erratically along Route 6 in Seekonk.
Galego struck five motor vehicles before smashing into a telephone pole at 1563 Fall River Avenue.
No other injuries were reported.
Part of Fall River Avenue was closed Saturday night due to the multiple crashes.
