New spot sets sights on coming to Fall River’s waterfront this month
As more and more restaurants open up across the city, Fall River will now have a new option down at the waterfront.
Sherri-Ann Rego is opening up Savor the Moment Café this summer down at the Fall River Carousel at 5 Water Street.
In talking with Rego, she has a clear vibe she wants to portray at the new establishment.
“It is all in the name. Savor the Moment Cafe. I want it to bring people together. Take a break. Read a book. Meet up with friends. A laid back atmosphere.”
The cafe will be serving breakfast items you would expect like pastries and coffees such as cappuccinos. For lunch, salads, soups, and sandwiches will be on the menu.
Having a prime location, the Café will be opening on the lower level of the Carousel and plans to seat 25 patrons.
The new waterfront spot will be open seven days a week from 6:30 a.m. to sunset.
With only minor cosmetic changes needed, along with getting the equipment ready to serve customers, Rego is looking to open on July 19th.
Rego was granted a Commmon Victuallers License at Tuesday evening’s Licensing Board meeting.
