Multiple people injured after 4 vehicle crash with rollover shuts down Route 24 in Fall River, Tiverton
Authorities are investigating after a multi-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon resulted in multiple injuries.
At approximately 1:00 p.m., crews from Fall River and Tiverton responded to Route 24 South just over the Fall River line in Tiverton.
According to Tiverton Fire Fighter’s IAFF Local 1703, a 4-car motor vehicle collision with a rollover took place just after the William S. Canning Blvd exit.
No one was critically injured, however, according to scanner transmissions, multiple people were injured including a child.
The crash led to the highway being shut down for an extended period.
