Much of southern New England expected to see first accumulating snow during commute
While the area is in a Wind Advisory until 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday will bring the first snowfall for many this season!
According to the National Weather Service, a widespread 1-2 inches of snow is forecast, with lower amounts along the coast.
While snow totals look to be minor, much of the snow is expected to fall during the evening commute, so the NWS asks drivers to please exercise caution while driving!
The forecast:
Wednesday: A chance of snow before 11:00 a.m., then rain likely between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., then snow likely after 4:00 p.m. with cloudy skies.
Wednesday Night: Snow likely, mainly before 9:00 p.m. with mostly cloudy skies.
