A motorcycle rider is dead after an early morning Massachusetts highway collision.
According to police, at approximately 12: 50 a.m. on Friday, the Revere Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle in the area of 251 Lee Burbank Highway (Route 1A).
The operator, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Revere Police Criminal Investigation Division and Massachusetts State Police also responded to assist at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
