A panel that previously had a private City meeting that had led to much discussion, will be holding their next forum in front of the public.

Mayor Paul Coogan and members of the City of Fall River’s American Rescue Plan Advisory Panel will hold a public meeting on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. thru 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Lights Band Club, 644 Quarry Street in Fall River.

Fall River City Councilor Christopher Peckham, who is on the panel, stated concerns over comments he says were made by Ken Fiola at a recent ARPA meeting over how pandemic money should be spent by the city.

The meeting was held behind closed doors which has led to a back and forth over what was actually said.

Members of the general public are invited to attend and offer their input regarding the use of the ARPA funding received by the City of Fall River.
