Massachusetts State Trooper makes patriotic find in Fall River
A Massachusetts State Trooper made a not so typical rescue in Fall River this morning.
According to Massachusetts State Police, this morning, as Trooper Luke Bonin was traveling down I-195 in Fall River, he noticed this Old Glory in a pile of debris against a jersey barrier on the left shoulder. Trooper Bonin went back, and ran across three lanes of traffic to save her.
Trooper Bonin noted, “To paraphrase the late Johnny Cash, It was a ragged old flag, but I made sure to fold her up right.”
