Massachusetts State Police reveal man jumped from overpass to his death on highway
The Massachusetts State Police have concluded their investigation into the death of a person found on a Massachusetts highway Tuesday.
According to Dave Procopio of Massachusetts State Police, Troopers located the body of the victim upon responding at approximately 4:30 a.m. to Interstate 93 southbound, south of Exit 21 in Medford.
Evidence indicates that the victim in this incident, an adult male, intentionally jumped from the overpass onto I-93 below, where he was struck by at least one, and likely more than one, vehicle.
Right travel lanes on I-93 southbound were closed approaching Exit 21 (for Route 38/Mystic Avenue) to support the investigation but have since re-opened.
